debian und firewall (iptables)

Moinsen,

habe seit einiger Zeit mein Nas-2000 mit debian als SSH- und Webserver stabil laufen - alles gut soweit. Würde gern das Sytem ausbauen und benötige eine Firewall. Für iptables fehlt jedoch das Modul ip_filter:

nas:~# iptables -L

Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.

nas:~# modprobe ip_tables

Hat irgendwer von euch unter debian 'ne Firewall laufen oder den Kernel selbst kompiliert?

Eher nein als jein, die waren schon im dump-file enthalten (/sbin/iptables). Ich hab dann aus lauter Verzweiflung trotzdem ein "apt-get install iptables" gemacht: ... schon die neueste Version.
