Here is an example of a buffered JTAG cable.
The transistor for RST is not needed for our NAS.
We only need TCK, TMS, TDI, TDO, GND (and VCC for the buffer)

For a first test you could add the buffer for TDO only.

Testing cabletype 1
JTAG-IDCODE: 0x00000bc1 - not OK

He sent me his board and cable.

The only thing I had to modify was to make a better and shorter GND connection.
He had a 20 pin flat cable. There are a lot of GND pins (4,6,...20). I soldered them togehter and then directly to the GND of the 25pin connector.
After this modification it worked.

Hello HWguru

The last month is not have more free time and is not try nothing , aslo I made one board with Buffer but is not finish for the same reason .

I have read the last information to send me , the system to work is with Buffer or not ? is possible to send same photo for the modification to made and you have possitive solution ?.

I try and this time , and after if would like send you the board , is one good problem for ... :comp01:
